A Welcome Message from Lt Peter Clark, Chair

A warm welcome and thank you for visiting the website for
Churches Together in Bognor Regis and the District.

Churches Together in Bognor Regis and District is a member of
Churches Together in England and Churches Together in Sussex which covers East and West Sussex.

We are a group of
diverse Christians from all traditions meeting to share the Gospel of Jesus and God's love to humanity with the people of Bognor Regis and the surrounding area.

As Christians in this place, we are called to meet together for prayer and worship, to discern what God might be saying in Bible Study. Jesus reminds us that our faith must be rooted in action so we must serve and witness to the Gospel of Christ Jesus.

Our grouping has 22 Churches and Christian organisations in many different Christian traditions and we enjoy celebrating that.

Whatever your church background or
 even if you have none,
we believe God
has a place for you in His Church in Bognor Regis.

I commend this website, and invite you to follow the links

and pay us a visit personally and,
we look forward to meeting you soon.

Please do not hesitate to contact me or any member
of the Secretariat if we can be of any assistance,

With every blessing
,

Lt Peter Clark

Chair of Churches Together in Bognor

Our final prayer meeting will take place on Wednesday 8th July

at 2.00pm at the United Reformed Church, Linden Road

Our meeting will be led by Jo Parnell,

Coordinator of the children work at Opengate Church

The focus of our meeting will be praying for our children's work in our churches and beyond. It would be good if those involved in this kind of ministry could make it, but all welcome to attend.

COME, AS YOU ARE -
A CELEBRATION FOR BACK TO CHURCH SUNDAY

Sunday 27th September 2009

3.00pm

The Royal Norfolk Hotel, Bognor Regis

This event truly promises to be an exciting initiative for churches in the Bognor Regis and surrounding area. It promises to be a chance to give thanks for the Bible Week, which has taken place in the week before and celebrate the joy of inviting friends to hear an uplifting message. During the afternoon, there will be an opportunity for people to invite their friends and family to share in a BBQ on the lawn of the Royal Norfolk Hotel. Each church will be asked to provide a stall giving details about what they do and when.

At 5.00pm, there will be a celebration service of hymns and modern songs from across all the Christian traditions. This will create a sense of uniting together in praise of One God. There will be a presentation and prayers at which recall the rich blessings we receive as God’s people.

Towards the end of our service, Gram Seed will be invited to share the testimony of his life so far and speak a message of hope and trust in God.

Please make sure you put this date in your diary!

Click HERE to read the story of Gram's life so far.
